Could you paint the smell of FrEsH bread?
On the one hundredth of June, one peculiar girl discovers she might be a witch. But which witch will she be? Join her on a sensory rhyming adventure in our debut picture book.

But what do other people think?
Stuff you might want to know
What’s the book actually about?
A young girl discovers she’s a witch and has to decide which witch (get it?) she’s going to be. Along the way, she meets a host of other witches and gets into a few hijinks. Want to know more than that? You’ll just have to buy it, Pauline.
What age group is the book for?
We’d say 5–8 is the sweet spot. It’s packed with rhythm and rhyme, making it a perfect bedtime read to share together, while the words are chosen to give early independent readers a fair crack at it themselves. (Some) adults are also welcome.
Is it hardback or paperback?
It’s a high-quality paperback. We spent far more time than we’d care to admit obsessing over paper types and landed on lovely thick, durable pages built to survive your hopefully enthusiastic page-turning.
What’s the deal with postage?
Postage is 100% FREE on all UK orders. Your order will be sent within 1–2 days via Evri and usually takes 3–5 working days. If you’re abroad, delivery is £9.99 and sent via Royal Mail. As soon as your order leaves the building, we’ll email you a tracking link with all the details.
Can I return my book?
If you (or your small human) decide it’s not for you, you can return it unused and in its original condition within 14 days of receiving it. Just drop us an email at hiya@thewhoopsies.co.uk to get the ball rolling.
Do I need an account to place an order?
Nope, we’re not one of those websites that asks you to verify the name of your neighbour’s cat’s maiden name and create a password longer than Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
The cow. Moo.
